Gina Walejko (2005 – Present) Gina was the lead graduate research assistant on the MacArthur-funded Adolescents’ Internet Uses project. She uses mixed methods to research how diverse populations of individuals use new media, including how college students use the Web. Currently, she is working with Professor Eszter Hargittai and Professor Peter Miller on some survey methodology projects. |

Kristin Thomas (2007 – Present) Kristin is a Ph.D. student in the Media, Technology, and Society Program in the School of Communication at Northwestern University. Her research interests are focused on issues of credibility, identity, and culture in mediated contexts. |

Yu-li Patrick Hsieh (2008 – Present) Yu-li (Patrick) is a Ph. D. student in the Media, Technology and Society program at Northwestern University. His research interests include the influences of information technology on social engagement, as well as its effects on social, psychological, and economic well-being. |

Cassidy Puckett (2009 - Present) Cassidy Puckett is a Ph. D. student in Sociology at Northwestern University. Her research interests include methodological issues related to the study of digital inequality (i.e., construct and measurement validity), individual and social determinants of technological competency, and the effects of technological competency on social inequality. |

Ashley Hudson (2007 – Present) Ashley Hudson is a senior double majoring in Journalism and Psychology. She received the Fellow Assistant Researcher Award (FARA) through the Communications Residential College for the 2007-2008 school year and has worked at WUP ever since. |

Cassi Saari (2008 – Present) Cassi is a senior majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Evolutionary Processes. Her favorite things include: her Russian tortoise named Isaak, music blogs, digital and film photography, and the corner brownie pieces. Her personal website can be found over yonder. She received the Fellow Assistant Researcher Award through the Communications Residential College for the 2008-2009 school year. In the summer of 2009, Cassi was promoted to lab manager. |

Olivia Curry (2009 – Present) Olivia is a junior majoring in Radio/TV/Film. She received the Fellow Assistant Researcher Award for the 2009-2010 school year through the Communications Residential College. In her spare time she works at Block Cinema, is on the board for Studio 22, and tries to ski as much as possible when it snows. She loves long road trips and playing music. She is studying abroad in fall 2010 in Paris, France. |

Jenna Lebersfeld (2009 – Present) Jenna B. Lebersfeld is a junior in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. She is double majoring in Biology and Psychology and is interested in pursuing a career in medicine. In her spare time, she plays the trumpet and has participated in a variety of bands on campus, including the University Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Orchestra. |

This year she wrote and directed her first short film on a grant from the NU Women's Filmmaker's Alliance, and is interested in working in the film/entertainment industry after graduation.
