Daniel Hantman was a research associate at the Web Use Project. Conducting research for the Youth Digital Media Use Survey Project, Daniel collected and archived information addressing youth digital media use. These data will provide the foundation for a report to the MacArthur Foundation making recommendations on survey methodologies for the future study of youth digital media use. His academic interests include identity politics and affective reproductions of diasporic and marginalized communities. He has conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Ghana, and in Chicago, and has taught for Teach For America in New Orleans. Daniel received a B.A. from Brandeis University and an M.A. from the University of Chicago. |
